With one of the highest ratings as voted by parents this Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat is by far one of the best options. For children weighing between 20-100 pounds this convertible car seat will keep them save in front, rear, or even side impact crashes.
Additionally the affordable price makes it very appealing to parents however the two color options may be a slight drawback. Definitely a highly recommended car seat!
As one of the top selling convertible car seats on Amazon customers purchasing this Graco should know that it ships out at 21 pounds total with dimensions of 29” x 20” x 22”.
With forward and rear facing capabilities this Graco convertible car seat can hold your child from infancy clear up to a hundred pounds! You can skip buying all of the car seats in between and stick with this model which is not only affordable but incredibly attractive. There are two options available which are both gender neutral however they are sophisticated and both have color coded strap holders making it simple to get your child in and out in a hurry.
This Graco Nautilus car seat also has a machine washable pad (a must have!) and the thick padding on both the head wings and sides make it comfortable and incredibly safe!
As mentioned earlier there are only two color options: Lagrange and Matrix. Both are attractive however none are clearly for girls – rather gender neutral which is a little disappointing. Parents wanting to have a brighter and girlier car seat will have to resort to a car seat cover instead!

1. Graco Nautilus – The Best Car Seat Product I Have Found
I found the Graco Nautilus car seat while I was shopping for a new car seat that would grow with my son and go past 40 pounds. I had bought a different brand of car seat that said it would go to 50 pounds and 47 inches height. My two year old, at 37 pounds, was already too tall for it and I ended up having to return it and purchased the Graco car seat. I am very glad I did. My son has plenty of room to grow with the Graco Nautilus and the car seat is really easy to install as well as adjust as required.
As my son grows, and he is quite tall for his age, I will be able to convert the car seat to a booster seat and use the Graco Nautilus till he is big enough to use just the seat belt. The headrest adjusts to good height and keeps my child’s head in a comfortable position if he falls asleep while on a road trip.
All in all an excellent product.

2. Graco Nautilus – Favorite Car Seat! Highly Recommend It!
I am a pediatrician and my husband and I did a lot of research before settling on the Graco Nautilus car seat for our third child. Prior to purchasing the Graco car seat we had been Britax users and find several reasons that we are glad we made the change over to the Graco Nautilus.
We had one criteria for our purchase – SAFETY. Neither price nor design were considerations. Our sole focus was safety for our child while riding around in the vehicle(s). The five point safety harness is well constructed and easy to use. Head rest is easy to adjust and the seat “grows” with your child. This car seat can be used from newborn all the way up to a 100 pound child. Goes from car seat to booster seat with ease.
Although cost was not a consideration for us, it is for plenty of folks and hands down the Graco Nautilus is an excellent value for the money and less expensive than the Britax.

3. Graco Nautilus – Does Not Live Up To Advertising Or Expectations
I hate to say it, because I have always been a fan of Graco products, and nearly everything my child has is a Graco product, but this car seat sucks. I order the Graco Nautilus and another car seat from another brand online to compare the two because no department stores offered either brand for me to comparison shop first hand. I am very glad I did.
The Graco Nautilus was a nightmare to use and all the straps were too short and I could see in no way how they would adjust for a growing child up to 40 pounds or more. My child is only a year old, weighs maybe 20 pounds, and a skinny, little guy, and he can not sit comfortably in this car seat. It makes his spine and shoulders hunch forward and he screams because it makes his back hurt.
The seat is hard and rigid and the covering feels like sand papered cardboard. Hard to clean and any one with kids knows that car seats are going to get FILTHY.
Don’t waste your money on this particular Graco car seat product. Spend a little extra and get one that offers safety, ease of use, ease of clean up and comfort for your child.
